Firemen's Ball
The Reidville Volunteer Fire Department organizes the Annual Firemen's Ball for October month annually. They are always assisted by their spouses or "significant others". During the Ball the "Fireman of the Year", selected by his peers, is announced. Other awards for time served and accomplishments are presented as well. This is a great opportunity for the entire Community to show their respect and appreciation to the volunteer firemen. Be sure to get your tickets to this annual event at the first opportunity. Christmas
The Reidville Volunteer Fire Department organizes the Annual Christmas Parade and presentation of Gifts to the Children with Santa and Mrs. Claus. They also assist with the Christmas Tree Lighting on a different evening during December. On Christmas eve Santa makes an appearance in Town by riding throughout on the Firetruck. Again the Firemen put themselves out to assist Santa.

Fund Raisers
The Reidville Volunteer Fire Department have held several fundraising drives to raise money to buy our new firetruck. This included Saturday Big Breakfast at the Hall, Chase the Ace, Construction Jobs around town, 50/50 draws, and more. Some of these activities are depicted in the Slider at the right.
Other Activities
The Reidville Volunteer Firemen carry out many other activities in Town throughout each year. They are constantly training to upgrade their firefighting skills and they assist the Town with fire hydrant flushing. The firemen carry out controlled burns when necessary in Town and respond when called to major accidents. The slider at the right depict some of these activities.
